As an instructional designer, I am adaptable and embrace change, whether it's pivoting in the middle of a project or implementing feedback.
While I am a dynamic learning facilitator with over a decade of experience, I am also an eLearning developer armed with creativity and extensive knowledge in adult learning theory. More than anything, my experience has taught me the importance of change and adaptability.
2020 is a year we remember for all the wrong reasons, but it’s the year I decided to go all-in and embraceeLearning development and blended learning. I was eager to adapt my curriculum to interactive, digital lessons that remained learner-centered. I utilized all the digital tools available to me at that timeto not only enhance participation and engagement, but to make content accessible to all learners. I am since dedicated to learning everything about instructional design and eLearning development. Earning an Applied Instructional Design Certification, I have honed my skills in ID fundamentals, the design process such as ADDIE, and eLearning platforms, which include Articulate Storyline and Rise.
As a lifelong learner, I have always had a passion for helping others learn and improve. This has instilled in me a unique appreciation for building engaging continued education. I continue to follow eLearning best practices and trends to apply to my learning solutions. My zeal for designing and developing purposeful, interactive training for diverse audiences provides learning solutions to ensure both company and individual goals are surpassed.
Change can be scary and ugly sometimes; a caterpillar doesn't become a butterfly without a little struggle and mess first. However, when change is embraced, and the proper supports and trainings are provided the end result is one of progress and beauty.
